Umm...whats that got to do with anything?
Anyway, to OP:That would be pretty interesting, especially for those drops that get 'stuck' in trees, rocks, etc. Though its so rare for that to happen, I doubt that would be a valid reason to employ your spell. I do think it would be cool to make Minipets more interactive, even if its just doing something you can do yourself. Sort of a 'fetch the paper' command, lol.

About the spell idea...who in their right mind would waste a slot on that?! That would just be dumb, lol, actual skill > laziness :P
Although, I wouldn't mind if my little turtle would just sit there firing at the ground with his little cannon balls ^_^ Assuming they did no damage and were small, lol

So how about making it NOT a skill, but an innate feature of minipets [even the "unpopular" pets would find welcome homes then!]... Minipets could just automatically collect drops into your inventory. Perhaps it seems a bit lame to some folks but it WOULD address one problem that bothers me rather a lot... Drop Stealers [just make sure that the pet could collect drops even if the char is dead]. ANet went to a bit of trouble to try to avoid this sort of behavior by assigning drops in the first place [and recently, lengthening the dur of assignment], and this would go a LONG way towards putting an end to the problem all together! So "Heck Yes!" I'm for it.

Well...what about the chests that people run into to open then die before they get their drop? They don't deserve the drop if that's the case, but being dead, the pet can claim the item for them, being as it can't be attacked...
Solve that problem

and then EVERYONE would want a minipet for each of their characters and would raise more complaints in Sardelac for new players who instinctively miss out.

Awesume idea, minipets should actually have some use instead of looking cute on the battlefield and following you around. They should have at least SOME VALUE, a reason to get them besides the reasons above.
